The 2nd Annual Amish Country Century Ride will take place in scenic Holmes and surrounding counties. All 3 routes including a 25 mile ride, a metric century (62 mile) ride or a challenging century ride with over 5,000 feet of vertical gain will feature beautiful rolling hills and showcase the charm of Ohio’s Amish Country. Never seen a horse and buggy before? Well be ready to check that off your list as these can be a regular occurrence when biking in Holmes County. Another Amish Country staple, hot buttered noodles, will be served after as part of the post-ride meal. Each of the routes will be marked and rest stops will be staffed with friendly community volunteers.
Riders are encouraged to solicit funds for Pure Gift of God as all proceeds will be going to them. Pure Gift of God is an organization that works to provide grants to adoptive families to help them overcome the financial barrier to adoption. Raising funds is not required for this ride, but it is encouraged.
