TBRI Trainings
At Pure Gift of God, we understand that an essential part of serving vulnerable children is equipping and empowering the caregivers, teachers, and church leaders in their lives. One way we do this is through TBRI Trainings. TBRI stands for Trust Based Relational Intervention, and it is a trauma-informed, attachment-based model. Created by the late Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross at Texas Christian University, TBRI is designed to meet the complex needs of children who have experienced relational trauma.

Pure Gift of God currently has three TBRI Practitioners on staff, and we offer the following services
Intro to TBRI Training
A basic introduction to TBRI, great for those who are new to this form of caregiving or anyone who would like a refresher. This training is available at select times throughout the year. Please register if you would like to be informed the next time this training is available.
TBRI Caregiver Training
Meet weekly one-on-one with a practitioner or with a small group to go through this in-depth TBRI training. Gain deeper understanding and practical strategies for caring for the children in your life. Register now and a practitioner will reach out to schedule with you.
